O'Cayz Corral - Madison
One of Madison’s most famous venues, The O’Cayz Corral had the greatest run of independent music, local artists, punk, hardcore, metal and grunge, for many years. Also bringing in national rock acts just months before they would explode; Nirvana, The White Stripes, Soundgarden and At The Drive-In were among the biggest acts to grace the stage in this time. After 20 years, it burned down on Jan. 1, 2001. The lot has stayed empty since the fire.
