Pit was an Extreme Music Magazine from Colorado Springs Colorado that was active from the late 80's until around 2007.  In its heyday in the 90's it was one of the bigger publications to cover only the heavier side of metal...Death, Thrash, Grind, and everything in between.  I discovered this magazine back in '95 when my band back then traveled to Colorado for a metal fest.  Up to that point I had never seen a magazine directly focused on the extreme metal scene.  I was enamored and I read it cover to cover on the way home to Wisconsin.  Was desperately trying to find someone selling these to buy my own but to no avail.  So I made my own!
