A fixture throughout the 80’s and 90’s in the old stomping grounds of my younger days, Lance’s Never Inn was a prominent Wisconsin Rapids nightclub located on Highway 13 on the south side of town.  Former site of the Golden Gate Tavern and Supper Club, it operated for 20 years, consistently ranking as the number one bar and restaurant in Wisconsin Rapids.  Unfortunately, it was destroyed by arson on June 4, 2004, and has remained a vacant lot since with nothing but the remnants of the old Lance’s sign, where this graphic came from, is still standing.  Oddly there are very little pictures I could find online of when this place was still running. Just the one of the sign out front.
