The Unicorn was a rock club that opened in 1984 in downtown Milwaukee. During its time from '84 to its closing in the late 90's, The Unicorn welcomed bands such as Nirvana, Soundgarden and Smashing Pumpkins, which really ensured their legendary status. Once that reputation was cemented, other bands such as Deftones, Brand New Heavies, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, NOFX and Rev. Horton Heat, and many many others made sure The Unicorn was a stop on their tours.
