Visions was a Madison gentlemen’s club that opened in 1976 and had its last dance in January of 2020 after a series of long legal battles with the city and community.  The Club was bought in 1978 by brothers Alphonse and Thomas Reichenberger who had previously owned Madison’s “The Dangle” which was the first bar in Wisconsin to go topless and eventually nude back in the 60’s, which helped make it one of the most famous or “infamous” bars not only in Madison, but in the country.  The 2020 closing marked the first time in 50 years that no strip clubs were operating within the city limits.
